A wooden boat carrying pilgrims sails towards the jetty of the Capernaum National Park in the Sea of Galilee, from the pier in Kibbutz Ginosar, northern Israel, on March 9, 2019. The wooden boat is a replica of the kind of boat that is estimated to have played a key role in Jesus’ life in the Galilee. An ancient Galilee fishing boat from the 1st century AD was discovered in 1986 on the north-west shore of the Sea of Galilee, near Kibbutz Ginosar, where the restored boat is displayed in a special museum today.
