Rolled-up maps and plans are seen at the Central Zionist Archives in Jerusalem, Israel, on March 13, 2013. The Maps and Plans Collection of the Central Zionist Archives preserves about 150,000 maps and plans that originate from various sources. The collection covers a chronological range of more than a hundred years, from the end of the 19th century to the 21th century. Most of the material in the collection is comprised of planning maps of settlements established in the country over the years by the various departments of the Jewish Agency and the Jewish National Fund.
