Israeli Politics Politicians
Speaker of the Knesset Reuven Rivlin (3rd R), members of the Knesset and blind athletes, part of Israel's paralympic team (not pictured) play a game of Goalball at the Israeli parliament in Jerusalem, on June 5, 2012, as part of the Knesset's observance of "Blind Day", in solidarity with Israel's blind and visually-impaired community. The game consists of two teams trying to throw a ball into the opponents' goal. Players follow the ball by listening to bells imbedded in the ball and blindfolds are used to allow sighted and partially sighted players to play on equal terms.
